Mike Hopkins is a copywriter living in New York City who loves to write about himself in third person. Originally from Raleigh, NC and with a Communications degree from BYU-Idaho he is absolutely crazy about advertising and public relations, and has had the opportunity to work and intern in both industries, gaining valuable skills he takes with him into every project.
Specializing in branding and brand management, he’s also gained graphic design skills, pursuing a minor in the subject. He has had extensive experience with both outside and internal clients at his school’s ad agency, Soapbox Agency, both as an account executive and as online content manager.
Mike has been active in the national PRSSA scene since 2012, serving as President of the BYU-Idaho PRSSA chapter and attending many national events, including two National Conferences and a National Assembly. He is well-known by his PRSSA associates and is a regular voice in PRSSA National Twitter chats.
Having worked in pharma, consumer and professional-facing advertising, he has the right balance of creative skills and results-driven focus. His goal is to become one of the hardest and most self-motivated workers in the advertising and branding industry in New York City. All this could be yours!
