1 in 4 children will be living in areas with extremely limited water by 2040 – unless we act now.
To get the word out, we decided to leverage the bottle flip trend on social media by having people around the world participate using local water from their region. They’ll fill their bottle 1/4th of the way to represent the one in four children who will be living in areas with extremely limited water by 2040.
Our goal? Get the public to rethink what the bottle flip means by having the world participate through social media in our own version of the bottle flip challenge. To increase our impact, we will encourage people to participate by giving them the opportunity to have their flips featured on a Times Square billboard.
